Welcome to the Yorkshire Tiling Academy,

We Specialise in tiling, plastering and plumbing training and Tiling NVQ Qualification.

Yorkshire Tiling Academy Ltd are proud to be working in partnership with Leeds College of Technology in offering NVQ’s and Tiling Apprenticeships. We run a friendly team here at the Yorkshire Tiling Academy and students soon feel welcome and at ease, you will be required to work hard but you will be astonished with the speed you pick up even the more complex aspects of Tiling, Plastering and Plumbing.

We run small class sizes of up to 7 students per instructor to ensure we can ‘fast track’ you into the chosen trade. We have purpose built FULL size kitchen and bathroom bays so you can experience tiling, plastering or plumbing a customer’s full spec job. Our courses are designed to give you the ability to repair damaged walls to a paintable finish and so you can replace bathrooms .The tiler, plasterer or plumber who can do the whole job gets the job! Each student works in their own bay with their own tools ensuring you develop skills at your own pace. Kitchens have the plugs, simulated units, cupboards and cooker funnels, windows and sinks in for example and the bathrooms have baths, shower pipes, WC waste pipes and ceilings. The floors are full size and not basic squares, you lay the tiles as in a real life situation. In our 10 day course you will also lay under floor heating and tile on top of it. NOT dry lay like some courses.
